Female foeticide... Forced by the society

Day by day we hear this craze about a baby boy and also about the inhuman female foeticide. Lets see the situations that are compelling many people to d o this.
1. Eve teasing: Biggest problem in the country. Being born a girl itself is becoming a crime because of this problem. Worst if the girl is blessed with good looks. thousands of guys, young and old in some or the other form want to lay a hand!. Worst..this is starting right from the school days.. these people are appearing in the form of teachers too!! Which is better?? Giving birth to a baby girl and making her face this cruel reality?? or forgetting the importance of women in the creation and continuation of civilization? As a parent, what they are doing is kind of valid... Given the circumstance.
2. Dowry: This is special in india. Dont know who invented this or for what purpose but it surely killed many brides. Lets see why the bride has to give dowry??(I can write a blog only on this..)
One reason is after marriage, the bride family has to bear the cost of her living as she is an extra person in the grooms family. .. this is a Bull shit reason.. If that is the case, then they can give monthly amount equal to her expenses...Worst, if the guy cannot feed her why the hell he has to marry..If he is dependent on the brides family for her survival.. how good he is to be married in the first place at all. Look at the sacrifice the girl is making(assuming the girl is good girl.. well behaved, decent.. coz I know some arrogant girls who can make lives of people difficult after marriage too..for such cases, something else has to be done ). The girl in the first place has to marry a stranger, share the bed with him. She doesnt know what diseases he has(or can be same for the groom too... but 90% males have the premarital sex chance because of the prostitution..and also coz.. india has not gone too far like US where average virginity loss is just 15 years). She comes to grooms family to see his family prospers with their surnames..Most of the time she has to take care of his family members too..and if she is asked to work.. she has to!! So many responsibilities.. this life really sucks..Offcourse this may not be always true as there are lucky gals who are very happy with their husbands too.. But here I am taking a global picture... especially rural areas... where the girls are beaten by drunkard husbands .. I believe female foeticide is high in rural areas as well.. urban areas are not far may be..
3. Education cost is increasing too. Even after the girl gets higher education they have to shed huge dowry for the sake of prestige.. And in most cases, the girl ends up sacrificing her education as she becomes house wife in 95% cases... if at all it doesnt happen then we must salute her ..if she is a good wife too. 30 % reservation is available.. but who will pay such huge fees?? esp when the responsibility of the girl is only as long as she is a spinster??
4. Family tree: Another important reason is this. A boy can carry the surname further. They are happy even if he carries a criminal tag, eve teaser tag..Important thing for them is vamsh!!!! And mostly by the time he gets matured his parents will not see his success/failure.
All these reasons are definitely thought or are probably lingering in every parents mind... Girl is a responsibility, boy is not.. Thats the myth.. and sooner or latter.. we will find some civilizations wiped off as already their ratio is 894:1000 ..
As a youth, every man may be attracted to a woman and vice versa but as a educated and civilized person it is always important to draw the line and give them the credit for being a girl.. She bears the pains of life to give life.. Lets respect good girls who know how to behave and uphold their parental values.. girls who have high aims.. dreams to make it big without using wrong means!!
