It is now quite a common view in many parts of india after the software boom, that many people have become rich from lower middle class incomes. But I from an ordinary man perspective also noticed certain things which these people have been doing, when the need of the hour was to use common sense! This I observed when these people get their kids get joined in their kindergarten.
I found many people get attracted to the spacious gardens, grounds, that so called international schools offer, and are ready to pay a hefty donations of money sometimes even running to lacs. I feel, does it really worthy of investing lac in donation and around 50k per annum on LKG?? when we ask the question to them, they simply say.. look at the people they generally get around!!! all are millionaires!!!! but whats the use overall, when parents have no time to spend with the kids for making them learn things? I just feel the so called international schools, are just utilizing the lack of commonsense among the rich by showing them the AC rooms, and the spacious grounds for the kids. yes they may be good for playing.. but for kids, their world is very small. they find happiness in simple things, for they don't know what money is all about. And parents, instead of joining them in a nearby school, which is decent enough, are ready to send their kids 5-10 km apart, and spend less time with their kids.. are the parents of today so bored of them?? if so then why don't they avoid having kids.
Another big stupid thing is traveling in cars, that too single!! They are ready to spend more money on petrol for their comfort, but they don't want any traffic jams, when the reason for traffic jam itself are the so called rich single travelers in cars. rather than using a car, they can use the bike or use some public transport . I guess this they would have used definitely at some point of their life. if they desperately want to travel in cars, they should atleast pick up colleagues and just make little effort to ask colleagues if anyone can give company for the day, this in a way reduces number of travelers as well.
And above all, alcohol!!!!!!. It neither fills the belly nor satisfies the thirst of a person. And they are ready to shed thousands on that stupid thing.
money definitely has lots of impact on the commonsense or lack of it of a person. God save them!!!!!
